This Privacy Policy explains how GoalieQ ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit goalieq.vercel.app or join our waitlist.

1. Data controller

The data controller for this website is Puro Partners Oy, a Finnish company operating the GoalieQ project.

2. What data we collect

Waitlist signups

When you submit the waitlist form on our site, we collect:

• Email address — so we can let you know when GoalieQ launches.

The form submits to Google Forms; the response is stored in Google Sheets owned by us. By submitting the form you consent to this storage.

Analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-D02BMKBG7Y) to collect anonymised usage data: pages viewed, approximate location (country/region), device type, referring URL, and a randomly generated visitor identifier. IP addresses are anonymised before storage.

If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is collected.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) for security and operations. These logs are retained for a limited period by Vercel.

3. Why we process your data

• Waitlist communication — to email you about the GoalieQ launch and product updates. Legal basis: your consent.
• Analytics — to understand how visitors use the site and improve it. Legal basis: your consent (cookie banner).
• Operations & security — to keep the site working and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

4. Who we share data with

We share limited data with the following processors, only as needed to run the service:

• Google LLC — Google Forms / Sheets (waitlist storage) and Google Analytics (if you consent).
• Vercel Inc. — hosting and content delivery.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

5. International transfers

Some of our processors (Google, Vercel) are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards under the GDPR.

6. How long we keep data

• Waitlist emails — until you ask us to delete them, or until the waitlist is closed and migrated into the live product.
• Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics for up to 14 months.
• Server logs — retained by Vercel per their standard policy.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time (for example, by changing your cookie settings or asking to be removed from the waitlist).
• Lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

9. Children

GoalieQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
